It's no different than underwear or a toothbrush - it's a good idea to keep things fresh.
The Uresta you know and love is still the Uresta you know and love. Uresta 2.0 is the same size and shape, with the same trusted leak-proof protection, comfort and fit you rely on.
The core product hasn’t changed, we’ve simply evolved the removal experience with a new handle and optional Removal String, designed to give you even more confidence.
Uresta 2.0 is the exact same when it comes to sizing and level of leak-proof protection. It will feel the same and be just as comfortable as the original Uresta.
The only changes are adding a robust finger hole in the handle and the introduction of the optional Removal String.
The new finger hole handle allows you to get a more secure grip when removing your Uresta and the ability to pull it out of your vagina with one finger. Simply locate the handle, insert your finger through the finger hole before pulling Uresta out of the vagina. Pro tip: Twisting or tipping Uresta side to side before pulling out of the vagina will help break the seal.
Should you choose to use one of our optional Removal Strings, loop the string through the finger loop before inserting Uresta. When it comes time to remove Uresta, grab the Removal String and follow the string to locate the Uresta handle. Once you’ve located the handle, insert your finger through the finger hole as described above.
We heard that some women wanted more confidence around removal, so we introduced a new handle with a finger hole and an optional Removal String. Developed through two years of research and testing with more than 100 women, Uresta 2.0 delivers the same trusted leak protection and comfort you know and love, now with a more intuitive removal experience.
Uresta is safe to use long-term, and it won’t weaken your pelvic floor muscles or make your incontinence worse. Uresta is also a great compliment to pelvic floor strengthening.
For safety and optimal long-term use, we recommend swapping out your Uresta at least once a year. It’s a hygiene thing, like replacing your toothbrush or switching out your socks. If you choose to use an optional Removal String, those are single use and should be discarded after each use.
It is not uncommon for the size of Uresta to change over-time. This could be driven by hormonal fluctuations, changes in strength, different stages of life, or a change in activity levels.
If you’re finding the size Uresta you’re using is no longer stopping your leaks or is uncomfortable or preventing you from urinating without removing Uresta, you should resize yourself using the Uresta Starter Kit.
Pro tip: Keep all the extra sizes in the Starter Kit, as you may likely need them!
